The rally, organized by a grassroots movement of students and community members from across the Boston Jewish community, seeks to promote peace both within Israel and between Israel and all its neighbors. Expected to draw 6,000-8,000 people, the rally marks the absence of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (z"l), who was scheduled to speak before a gathering of North American Jewish leaders in Boston that evening. The rally demonstrates solidarity with the government and people of Israel and with all those in the Middle East who seek peace--by peace.

Speakers include:

David Broza, David Paskin, and Fred Small, Israeli and American singers, will perform musical selections focused on the theme of peace.

Wheelchair Accessable and Sign Language Interpreter provided.

Sponsored by the Brandeis Coalition for Peace.

Supported by American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Brandeis University, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life.
